The Bighorn National Forest released a news release today stating that high temperatures, low humidity, and strong winds pushed the Roane Creek Fire to 25 acres Thursday.

School districts team up to lobby for more money

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - A coalition of seven Wyoming school districts says the state had underfunded K-12 schools by $151 million in recent years.

STATE "B" BASEBALL - The Sheridan Jets beat Casper to open their state tournament at Thorne-Rider stadium Thursday night.

Head coach Ryan Murner says the Jets played well and it was a good win.

They will play Cheyenne in one semi final tonight at 8:00, they haven't played each other this season and Murner expects a good ball game.

In other action yesterday Cheyenne beat Jackson 10-0 to advance, the other winner's game will have Gillette playing Cody at 3:00.
